Contrary to the irresponsible article published in the York Press, Dalton Terrace Surgery would like to confirm that the Surgery's boundary is not being 'shrunk'. It remains unchanged as it has been for many years.
Patients who have moved house and now live outside the Practice boundary are being asked to register with a surgery closer to their new home address. This is for practical reasons of patient safety and the difficulty of GP's travelling across the city to make home visits. It is not in any way connected to the Practice's recent CQC inspection as insinuated by the York Press article.
